Let’s look 👀 at these coins •NXT •IOTA NXT—-blockchain tech allow users to create blockchain applications . Platform has asset exchange , messaging system and marketplace. It was created as an enhanced Bitcoin, one that uses proof of staking vs proof of work. IOTA—— Internet of things Think about communications For example smart refrigerators Smart phones Smart Cars How they all are interconnected through the Internet............. So, think 🤔 of a smart refrigerator that can .....reorder groceries or products and automatically pays for the purchases 💰 using the IOTA token for those transactions. IOTA is the only crypto currency that don’t use full blockchain to perform the transactions . It has a system called Tangle And it solves the scalability issues So that means no transaction fees!!
So the reason 👁 bring these to your attention ‼️ (Please do your own research) and ******this is not financial advice , nor am I a financial advisor, please take this info as educational entertainment😉*****
But these in my opinion and based on What is going on regarding SEC case vs Ripple‼️⁉️ And the fact that assets are being tokenized ‼️‼️‼️‼️ This the 📈NEW “STOCK” EXCHANGE.📉 Last question?????? Since we see this happening, we gotta think about okay so at the end of the day , you have multiple blockchain ... just like you have multiple credit cards (nowadays) If my refrigerator auto pays using IOTA to let’s say Walmart, and when Walmart gets paid for my groceries they receive USD Which coin/token out of the 10,000 + crypto currencies bridged the two assets together? Which blockchain can connect to any and all other blockchain?
Let’s look at another System Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) refers to the technological infrastructure and protocols that allows simultaneous access, validation, and record updating in an immutable manner across a network that's spread across multiple entities or locations. In fact, comparing a blockchain to a DLT is like comparing an apple to a fruit. An apple is a fruit. Similarly, a Blockchain is a DLT.” A DLT is just a database spread across several sites, and the way data is distributed, structured and agreed upon determines the type of DLT. CRYPTO currencies , such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, use blockchain-styled DLTs. But other cryptocurrencies, such as IOTA, are DLTs that are not blockchains. So when we dive deeper into the foundation of these other alt coins or crypto currencies and where they are being created from (applications created on these blockchain) Bitcoin has a blockchain Ethereum has a blockchain type IOTA XRP Ledger Etc etc We get into the Technology protocols behind it. My point is there is levels to this 💩 . We see the top level the on everyone will see (new stock exchange) and now we get to the inner workings of it. There are 3-main types of block chain technolog. Permissionless Blockchain — there is no authority sanctioning a transaction (used by Bitcoin and Ethereum). Public Permissioned Blockchain — has designated people or authority (such as a senior employee or government institution) to sanction a transaction, with data viewable by the public. Private Permissioned Blockchain — works with designated people empowered to sanction transactions, but data is not available for public view. The blockchain behind Bitcoin was created to enable peer-to-peer bitcoin payments. The chained blocks of data showed the work or mining behind the transaction. IOTA Tangle and XRPL are non-mineable and can only be bought. Rather than POW, these are PoS (proof-of-stake) algorithms that don’t “reward participants for solving complex crypto puzzles to validate transactions and build new blocks through mining.” What’s Ripple Used For? Used primarily for connecting payment providers, banks, digital asset corporates through RippleNet — its core payment network — Ripple relies on PoS. And it’s catching on among banks as a worldwide payment system because it more than just a currency, Laignee Barron at Fortune writes. Barron states that “Ripple is a system through which any currency can be transferred or traded and can be thought of as Western Union without the heavy fees.” Ripple is considered by some the “black sheep” of the crypto world because it works with financial institutions that are the reason why the blockchain emerged in the first place. •Frictionless money transfers at global level and every transaction recorded on the XRP (Ripple token) Ledger. So does the native token XRP have value? Is it simply just a token to protect the network, called RippleNet, against spam? well initially one can argue this was the tokens only use case. Well nowadays XRP Is Seeing Use as a Medium of Exchange 💰📈🥰 Xpring, Ripple’s developer platform, indicates that the asset is seeing some use as a medium of exchange. Per a report by Xpring’s Shae Wang , XRP is finding use as a medium for transferring value between cryptocurrency exchanges.
Pitting these two DLTs against each other is not easy. The two serve very different purposes. IOTA Tangle was created for B2B models while Ripple XRPL simplifies settlement between every financial institution with faster transactions and lower fees. IOTA stands for Internet of Things Application” and by getting rid of the block and chain, makes fees and scalability issues non-issues. Verification happens at the level of devices connected through the network that randomly verify each other’s transactions. “They build consensus through the web of connections between transactions.
